On May 4, 1934, the moment finally arrived. A total of 14 founding members established the Golf & Country Club Achensee, committing themselves to contribute an annual fee of 5 Schilling (!) for life. The course was officially opened on June 18, 1934. Dr. Leopold von Pasquali became the first president.
